Secpol.msc
Local Security Policy

ang availability ay depende ito sa edition ng OS nyu. Paki check nalang po. Pero most business OS ay meron nyan File/Install blocking using secpol.msc  Clear

Note:
Windows 7 environment ko ginawa yung guide, pero alam ko pede rin ito sa XP.

Introduction:
Marami ang nagkakaproblem na mga shops dahil sa mga downloads and installations ng tomer.
Either from USB and sa desktop/download or any folders na hindi restricted.

So this approach ay pang block w/o using 3rd party applications.


Simulan na natin File/Install blocking using secpol.msc  Clear


I. Start secpol.msc
File/Install blocking using secpol.msc  Image

File/Install blocking using secpol.msc  Image



II. Click on software restriction policies

kapag wala pang value, do this:
File/Install blocking using secpol.msc  Image



III. Configuring Designated file types
follow the screen shot. example add natin si .vbs

IV. Adding path rules
note: pede rin ang hash rule pero
mas madali and safe ang path rule

lagay mo sa path rule ang USB drives
and download, documents, music, videos, desktop folder. assuming na nakahide ang C: and D: sa clients mo
